We’ve recently welcomed several new team members to the the agency. Kim Gates is our new account manager, Eric Scarcella is our new public relations manager, Erin Sullivan is our new associate account manager and Zoë Woodward is our new junior front-end developer.
Meet Kim
As account manager, Kim will build strong relationships with her clients and manage their B2B communications programs. With her clients and team, she’ll define the scope of projects and plan schedules, tasks and resources. Before she joined Godfrey, Kim was the director of marketing for Direct Wire & Cable, Inc., and she earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Metropolitan State University in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
What is your favorite thing about your career?
I get to work in so many different industries and get a glimpse into what it takes to make the world go ‘round!
What is your favorite childhood memory?
Santa visited our house, and I got a bubble-blowing lawnmower.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
A veterinarian.
Meet Eric
Eric will manage client public relations programs and projects from concept to delivery as public relations manager. He’ll be the point of contact between Godfrey, its clients and editors, bloggers and analysts. Eric comes to Godfrey from Gavin Advertising where he was a senior public relations and marketing manager. He graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts in public relations.
What is your favorite childhood memory?
Each summer, my family would take a road trip for our vacation and, for the most part, we went to the Outer Banks in North Carolina. However, one summer we took a Midwest road trip that culminated with a few days spent in Chicago. I loved being able to explore parts of the country that I hadn’t seen before through ballparks and museums while making lifelong memories with family.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
A sports broadcaster. I wasn’t blessed with great athletic skills growing up, and I always envisioned that being an announcer would be my way to break into sports.
Tell us something people don’t know about you.
When I worked for the Reading Fightin Phils, I sang “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” at each home game, including when our team played at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. By singing at the home games, I got to meet (and sing with!) a lot of the team’s fans and a few “celebrities,” including the Phillie Phanatic and WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter.
Meet Erin
As associate account manager, Erin schedules and manages all team projects. She helps define the scope, plan schedules and budgets and determine tasks and resources. She previously worked as a program associate for Pennsylvania Campus Compact and received a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Albright College.
What is your favorite thing about your career?
Getting to work with so many creative, intelligent, motivated people who I can learn from every day.
Aside from necessities, what is one thing you could not go a day without?
Iced coffee—no matter how cold out!
Tell us something people don’t know about you.
I have five siblings!
Meet Zoë
Bridging the gap between design and development, Zoë will collaborate with our development and creative teams as a junior front-end developer. She’ll integrate code, art and copy to ensure that all digital client communication tools function properly, such as websites, landing pages and email campaigns. With 2,500+ project hours, Zoë recently received her certification from Bloc Web Development and UX Design.
Do you collect anything?
I collect living plants. Succulents and other varieties (indoor and outdoor).
What did you want to be when you grew up?
A forensic scientist.
Tell us something people don’t know about you.
I wrote my first book on the anatomy of yoga, created my first website and developed and facilitated my first marketing campaign all while holding my newborn baby.
Welcome to the team, Kim, Eric, Erin and Zoë!
